Virtual Reality, or VR, is a new form of interactive entertainment. Up till now, we’ve always looked at games and movies on a flat screen. Virtual reality allows the player to actually enter the world and be fully immersed in it! The only way to truly understand VR is to experience it!

Absolutely! We offer a wide range of experiences and have discovered that people of all ages and demographics love VR. This is because you’re not just sitting on a couch and pushing buttons on a controller, but you’re actually doing things as if in real life! Shooting a bow and arrow at an invading orc, cooking food for your virtual customer, or dodging fire from enemy robots… there is a nearly endless selection of exciting experiences for every taste.

We have singer player and multi player games, escape room games, first person shooter games, zombie and horror games, exploring games, puzzle games, active fighting games... there is something for everyone! See our full list here.

You pay for a fixed time (e.g. 50 minute sessions + 10 minute setup & training). During that time you will be playing VR the entire time in your own dedicated booth. We also cater towards parties and events.

Minimum age is 8 years old.

We believe VR is most fun when played together with friends! That is why we have a large number of stations (18) and we strive to support the best multiplayer games. But fear not, if solo is your preference, we have a hearty selection of single player games.

All of our stations offer a variety of games to choose from that you are free to switch between as often as you like during your session. Some experiences are short and some are longer. It’s up to you to choose what experience you want. If you need help choosing, take a look at our Games Page or ask one of our attendants for suggestions.

No! Well... probably not. It's true that some people get sick when playing VR,, but this is mostly due to particular game choice and poor equipment. We try to stock games that do not cause motion sickness that, for instance, use in-game teleportation. Poor equipment, especially with poor frame rates, is also a leading cause of sickness. We carry the industry best headsets and most powerful computers allowing us to deliver super fast refresh rates (144 Hz) and best field of view (130 degrees), almost completely eliminating motion sickness. If you do start getting motion sick, we will suggest games that don't cause motion sickness. If, however, you still get sick, we offer a full money back guarantee.

Yes! If you normally wear glasses, you can wear them inside the headset to get the sharpest image. However, we suggest you use contact lenses ase some frames may be too large to fit or scratch the lenses.

The VR system is configured to know where the edges of your play space are. When you come close to an edge it will display a visual 'grid' inside the game to let you know exactly where the edge is. You will be able to avoid walls and other players naturally.

We recommend coming 15 minutes before, especially if it is your first visit. This allows time for you to complete the waiver, choose your games and check in. Please note – late arrivals will affect the overall game time of your session. e.g. similar to a movie theater, if you are 15 minutes late, your session will be reduced by 15 minutes.

Socks are required in our booths. If you don’t have socks, they can be purchased at our front desk for $1.50.

Yes, all participants at 5th Dimension VR are required to sign a waiver. Minors will need to have one filled out by a parent or legal guardian. We strongly recommend you complete your waiver online before your session starts.

VR is a social experience! We can put you all in the same experience so you will play with your friends, seeing and hearing each other during the game!

Definitely. We can filter out any games that are rated 14+.

Yes, we have tutorial videos. We will go through the tutorial and instructions with you before you start your session. Your time will start when your game starts.

Each of our booths are designed for one player at a time.

All our headsets come with removable face coverings which are swapped and thoroughly cleaned with antibacterial sanitizing wipes after each play session. Sanitary face masks are also available upon request.
