Roblox Game Design

Step into the immersive 3D universe of Roblox, a popular online platform with its powerful game development environment called Roblox Studio. Designed for aspiring creators aged 8-14, this program utilizes the same tools used to create countless online hits. Students will dive into the exciting process of 3D modeling, level design, and introductory scripting using the Lua programming language, discovering how to create interactive environments, program game mechanics, and even publish their creations for others to explore and play. It’s a dynamic opportunity to develop skills in 3D design, coding, and collaborative creation within a massive digital world. First we create an Obby, and then move onto more advanced custom projects to build game design, coding, and 3d skills. The only Roblox the kids will play in this class are the games that they make!
